Streaming music service Spotify, one of the best we've used, opened its doors this morning to all comers in the United States, starting first with the users who signed up for invites when the service started accepting invites earlier this month.
If you've signed up for an invite, your email is likely on the way. If you haven't, you can still sign up to get an invite, or you can jump the line by signing up for one of Spotify's paid subscription plans. Free users can sign up to access Spotify's library, but streaming will be time-limited and ad-supported.
Spotify Unlimited will cost you $4.99/month, and Spotify Premium will cost you $9.99/month. Spotify Unlimited gives you unlimited listening with no time limits, ad-free streaming, and the ability to share songs and playlists with friends. Spotify Premium adds to those features with mobile apps and offline listening, and the best sound quality the service has to offer.
