Responsible for daily costing and all costing system maintenance
Assist with on-going cost reviews (quarterly major models, etc)
Assist in Annual Operating Plan creation for Cost Accounting related items
Assist in annual physical inventory process and related reconciliation
Complete all monthly reports on a timely basis with zero defects
Assist in monthly account reconciliations
Responsible for monthly closing activities
Responsible for weekly and monthly efficiency reports
Review transaction errors to insure proper impact on perpetual and G/L records
Assist in investigation and research of cost variances
Seek continuous process improvements
Support new product development
Support Sarbanes-Oxley compliance

Solid understanding of accounting principles
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
minimum 2 years general accounting and Internal controls experience required
Accounting experience working in a manufacturing environment is preferred
Position ensures transactions adhere to GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and FICAP (IR Accounting Policies).
Position also needs to work with Engineering and Manufacturing Management to ensure proper costing and transaction methodology is consistently applied, intermedium-advanced english level
